Trump's entry into the debate around Bitcoin and Libra could be a significant step for crypto fans. The White House has so far been silent with the subject, even when federal regulators such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Committee (CFTC) and some departments of the US Treasury wrestled with the issue of how virtual currencies should be regulated.
